The Department of Retail Management was set up in the year 2015 with 2 Faculties and a strength of 50 students in the 1st year. It has a well equipped Retail Laboratory which makes the students familiar with the tools, equipments and the electronics used in a Retail Store. Since the 1st batch the placements of the department has also been very remarkable. The department also can boast that the students have offers form many retail organisations even before they complete their graduation. The Department of Retail Management also runs 4 certificate courses simultaneously with the B.Voc Retail Management degree programme. 1. Retail Sales Associate 2. Retail Team Leader 3. Retail Department Manager 4. Retail Store Manager These courses are recognised by Govt. of India, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, National Skill Development Corporation and are assessed by Retailer’s Association Skill Council of India (RASCI).
